ABOUT US
Era Uma Vez Project was born in July 2023 by Beatriz Medina. Beatriz has been in Australia for over 10 years. She has graduated in Australia with a Bachelor Of Education. In the last 7 years, Beatriz has been working in different learning settings in different roles such as Codirector, Teacher and Inclusion Support. Education has always been her passion, she is fascinated by embedding diversity and cultural awareness in her program.
At Era Uma Vez we believe in the attachment theory, which means the core of our program is affection, building positive and strong relationships with children. We believe that children learn best when they feel safe, secure and included. We respect each child’s pace and listen to the children’s needs and interests to be embedded in our program.
Era Uma Vez is the beginning of your child’s story and connection with the Brazilian childhood.
OUR CLASSES

TUCANO GROUP
(Babies & Toddlers)
The Tucano group is all about exploring Portuguese through music, movement, stories, sensory activities and positive connection with your child.

TATU-BOLA GROUP
(3.5 to 5.5 year olds)
In the Tatu-Bola group we explore Portuguese through games, music, movement, cooking experiences, stories, arts and positive interaction with each other.

TAMANDUA GROUP
(6 to 10 year olds)
The Tamandua group is all about learning and practicing Portuguese using Brazilian literature and embedding literacy and numeracy in their program.

PRIVATE CLASSES
(Any Ages)
In our private classes, we offer one-on-one learning opportunities to support your child in developing their Portuguese.
